USA Weightlifting Level 1
I first started doing CrossFit my sophomore year of high school in 2011 in my high school’s football coach’s garage. The reason I started was to get in shape for the upcoming softball season. Before then, I had played soccer and basketball, but quit both sports due to the amount of cardio endurance that was required. The same would eventually happen with CrossFit later that year.
After graduating high school and moving to Toledo to get my bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, college life got the best of me and I gained weight from drinking and eating whatever I wanted. It wasn’t until my younger sister would come to the same college my senior year that we started going to CrossFit classes again together. That was the push I needed, and this time it stuck and I stayed consistent.
It was during classes at Glass City CrossFit in Toledo that I found my passion for the Olympic lifts. While I still did the hour long classes occasionally, I often found myself alone on the opposite side of the gym working on my lifting and technique. After graduation, I decided I wanted to get my USA Weightlifting Level 1 certification to teach others who had similar interests in improving their lifts.
I love seeing both new and familiar faces at the gym and I aim to make Olympic Lifting both fun and educational for all who attend!

I was first introduced to CrossFit during the summer of 2012. After competitively swimming for 10 years, I was searching for something else to challenge me physically, but had no idea where CrossFit would eventually take me. I was looking for something different than the average cardio and weightlifting machines. In the beginning, I definitely questioned the program, the workouts, and myself. CrossFit’s programs are the opposite of swimming’s programs and it was difficult to adjust to, especially being a woman in the fitness industry. Throughout the years, “thin was in”.
Well not for me, muscular shoulders and back was something that would never go away. I initially lacked mental strength. However, the time finally came when I no longer cared what others thought. I now value the emphasis and importance and beauty of being strong and never letting anyone or anything hold me back.
I love CrossFit because it pushes my limits, both mentally and physically. I learn something new about myself every day at the gym. Good and/or bad. CrossFit allows us to always set new goals and continuously learn and improve. You eat well, train hard, and push yourself to challenge those around you. It has helped me understand and appreciate the process needed to achieve goals, not only in the gym, but in life. The biggest joy is to be able help others love this lifestyle and show them how it can improve their overall health and well-being.

CrossFit L1
I was first introduced to CrossFit in 2018 (ask to see my picture from my first day). I was a full time student, working part time and didn’t feel like I had the time for CrossFit, so I quit.
I chose not to make fitness a priority so I didn’t have the time for CrossFit. Turns out you can always find the time for something you choose to make a priority. After graduation, I moved abroad to teach English and was going to a gym occasionally with no purpose.
It wasn’t until January of 2020 when I came home to visit my family and I got stuck due to flight cancellations and border closings at the height of the pandemic.
I ended up being quarantined with my mom who is a Level 2 CrossFit Trainer at Mid Mitten in Lansing. During quarantine my mom and I started doing all the zoom wods together. I ended up helping her run the zoom sessions and this is where I truly fell in love with CrossFit.
In September of 2020 I moved from Lansing to Bloomfield Hills for my full time job and I joined CrossFit Bloomfield. I fell in love with the community here and after some time I decided to get my L1 to share my passion for CrossFit and teaching with all the members of CrossFit Bloomfield.

I was introduced to CrossFit at the age of 19. After I attended my first class, I had decided it wasn’t for me…yet. A few years later, I made the decision to give this CrossFit thing another chance. This time it was at a Community Wod event. I was immediately drawn to the warm, community and appreciated that they were very accepting of newcomers. I immediately found that this was right for me.
I have always been athletic. The potential to succeed was already there. I quickly discovered that this was the perfect outlet. Being held accountable is what I love most about CrossFit. Being a part of a box allowed me to form an awesome network of friends and acquaintances.
Now that a few years have gone by, I’ve realized that I am ready to take my love of fitness and share my passion with everyone who walks in the door at CrossFit Bloomfield.
Ever since obtaining my CrossFit certification, I’ve felt destined to lead every one of you to become successful in reaching your goals and establishing new ones. I am eager to share everything I have learned and will learn in the future, as well as give my fullest attention to learn from this inspiring community.

Hillary Levin, like most people, went to the gym on and off and worked out without passion or drive. It felt like a chore. It was something to do that made sure she fit into a certain pair of pants.
The inconsistency and lack of focus with exercise was soon laid to rest when her husband, Jordan Levin introduced her to CrossFit. Finally she found the missing link!
CrossFit was Hillary’s golden ticket to finding her true mental and physical potential, confidence, drive and focus. Every day was a new workout that inspired, challenged and pushed her beyond anything she had ever experienced. She found that everything she did in CrossFit could be translated to her every day routine outside of the “Box.” It was then that things finally clicked and workouts were no longer a chore, but something that became a much welcomed life style.

While growing up, fitness and sports represented Jordan Levin’s life. On any given day, you could find him water skiing, windsurfing, snow skiing, playing baseball, hockey, and doing gymnastics. He loved playing sports, which he learned from his father, an active athlete himself.
Jordan’s true passion is to help people strive to do and be the best. He learned this through a life that involved significant health issues and a hearing disability that easily could have kept him down and out. (Read His Story) Throughout his life, Jordan’s parents taught him the meaning of being relentless. Never taking “no” for an answer, and striving for the best.
He has overcome many obstacles in his life, and today, this vibrant, enthusiastic and highly-motivated coach helps adults, children, and teens find the desire within them to accomplish their own personal fitness/health goals. Jordan has grown CFB from humble roots in his parents garage into an 8000 sq ft fitness facility. Bringing a tough yet highly compassionate style to his coaching, Jordan leverages his own life lessons to help members to accomplish their own goals.
Jordan is also a motivational speaker and champion for overcoming the nation’s childhood obesity epidemic.
